First Gear Die Cast ~ New In Box

1949 Chevrolet Army Ambulance. First Gear cat no. 19-1388, precisely 1:34 scale, heavy guage die cast metal. U.S. Army Medical Service ambulance built on a 1949 Chevy panel truck chassis. Thousands of these ambulances were built on Chevy and GMC 1949-1952 Model 101-22 1-ton panel vans. The vans had a reliable in-line 228 cu in 6-cyl OHV engine of 100 hp. They continued into service well into the 60s.

This die cast model is Mint in the original box. Measures Approx. 7" long by 2.5" high by 2.25" wide. Awesome graphics, detailed exterior and interior, engine, and undercarriage. An extra driver-side mirror is included in the box. This First Gear models was produced only in 1995. This model with U.S. Army markings is very scarce today!
